Mr. D Gets a Tooth

Dominic’s first tooth started to come in on Monday, January 17! He seems to have more teething pain than his brother, but the favorite pastime of them both right now is gumming anything they can get their hands on. We bought them a couple of the teething toys that you can chill in the refrigerator, and Mommy usually carries a burp rag with her wherever she goes. Super messy and stinky diaper? No problem. Gobs of clear, slippery drool? Quick! Generate a personal forcefield!

Out for a Stroll

Yesterday was an absolutely gorgeous day – 68 degrees with sunshine, so I decided to get Dom and Alex out of the house for an outdoor adventure. Since they have both been getting so good at sitting up, we used one of the strollers for older babies (Thanks, John and Teresa!).

They really seemed to enjoy sitting up and looking around – so much so that after we walked around our block we just kept on going and walked around another block nearby. About halfway through the walk, Alex decided that the most fascinating scenery was beneath us and started leaning over to watch the sidewalk pass by. Hopefully we’ll have more sunny, warm days as all three of us enjoyed our outing in the fresh air.

This Morning

Last night the boys only woke up once in the night, and this morning, they enjoyed playing with their toys.
