It wasn’t long ago that the Twin-Daddy discovered Alex standing in his crib and leaning over the rail toward his brother. We lowered his mattress and since then we have found him several times kneeling and holding onto the side of his crib. Well, during their first nap today, Dom decided to join the ranks of adventurous crib climbers. The Twin-Daddy discovered him also testing the advantages of using the crib rail to pull himself up.
Other Tidbits
- While Mommy napped this morning, the Twin-Daddy saw Alex reach out and offer a toy to his brother.
- We put the boys to bed last night at 7 PM, but they had a difficult time going to sleep. That’s what we get for disrupting their schedule and putting them to bed late 3 days in a row!
- Both Dom and Alex continue to sleep through the night (Alex woke up once last night but only briefly), and they are becoming much more consistent about take 1.5-2 hour naps (though there are still times that isn’t true).
- I tried giving our boys water from a glass again yesterday and that seemed to go fairly well. They both seemed to enjoy the idea of it.
- Our little guys are a little more mobile every day. Alex particularly seems on the verge of all-out crawling and is becoming skilled at finding ways to move toward objects he wants. Dom isn’t far behind, but he tends to become frustrated faster.
The Poo Fairy
Hmmm…perhaps “fairy” isn’t the right word, “the poo imp” might be better. It sounds more mischievous. Alex has had several non-solid poos this morning – including two out-of-diaper experiences. Go, Alex! The Poo Imp has not been as generous with Dom yet, but Dom is also on the road to gooey poo.
