Today was absolutely gorgeous and sunny (77 degrees), so the boys and I walked to the Fort Natomas park where Dom and Alex played on the swings. A two-year-old girl named Savanna came over to ask questions about the boys and to help push them in the swings. She was very sweet.
This afternoon Dom and Alex tried a new and slightly thicker food – avocado (mashed and mixed with breastmilk). Dom really loved the avocado and was determined to help Mom give him each spoonful. Alex tended to taste the avocado and then push most of it right back out of his mouth.
In the photos, Alex is in green and Dom in blue. Click on the photos below to see a larger or more complete photo:
- Alex: Come play, Mom!
- Boys: We love mornings!
- Alex: Woo Hoo!
- Dom: You got it, bro!
- Boys: Strangely, this is kind of fun.
- Boys: Push us, Mom!
- Alex: Hey! This is not rice cereal!
- Dom: Yum. I like it.
- Alex: It feels funny on my tongue.
- Dom: Yes, I definitely like it!
- Alex: Do you like my face paint?
- Dom: I can help, Mom.
- Alex: Hi, Dad!
- Mom: Yum, yum!
- Alex: How many push ups do I have to do?
- Dom: What will we do tomorrow?
