We’ve had a string of lovely days here with the temperature in the 60s in the afternoon, and the boys and I have been enjoying our afternoon walks. Yesterday was a little cooler, so I bundled them in their little bear coats. Today was the warmest yet, and Dom was sitting forward and looking around the whole walk while Alex thought that leaning over on his brother was the best way to enjoy the outing.
Dom and Alex prefer to be sitting up or standing now, but we get some good tummy time first thing in the morning. Alex has started scooting backwards, and they both wiggle around all over the place in their cribs. The boys slept well last night, but Dom woke up at 5 AM and tried to convince both Mom and Alex that it really was time to get up. It took 45 minutes to get him to sleep again. Today, they took two two-hour naps, but they had a little too long to be awake before bedtime and not enough time to take a third nap. It looks like we may be transitioning from 3 to 2 naps, and I’ll need to space out the naps accordingly.

The twin-daddy was able to work from home today which was really nice. We didn’t get to see him a lot more than usual, as he was set up in the “man-cave” (the detached room that is often the “mom-cave” in the evenings) to work. However, we had a little extra time in the morning, and the twin-daddy cooked a yummy lunch and hung out with all of us during his lunch break. Plus, he got “home” in record time – giving him almost a whole extra hour with the boys.
