Our little family is reunited and home together. Home… a truly wonderful word. It’s hard to take my eyes off the little guys, and I wake up repeatedly in the night just to check on them both. I’m glad we went to a hospital with a great NICU, but I’m even happier not to need to make that trek every day.

We took some video of the boys coming home today, and we’ll try to get it up soon. For now, here are some recent photos of the boys: (Click on the image to see the full image; click on the full image to see a larger version.)

Sorry I haven’t been more talkative, but I bet my busy residency aligns well with your Twinsanity interval, cancelling out and meaning nobody notices : P

I’ve got the whole weekend off, however, I need to register my car in Cali and study for the last part of my licensing exam that I gave myself two weeks to study for in an effort to motivate myself. Ack! However, if you’re up for a visit, I might be able to swing by one day. Just let me know.

Love you both and can’t wait to get to know the twins!

  11. Hi Mary, I just wanted to say hi and catch up with old friends. Congratulations on the twins, they are beautiful. I have 3 children now. Sarah is 14, Tate is 9, and Allison is 4. I also had an experience with the NICU as Allison was born 6 weeks premature with a birth defect. It was tough, but we were blessed with a great NICU as well. I would love to hear from you. I don’t have a website or a Facebook at the moment, but please email me if you have time between all those midnight feedings. :) Skye
