Dominic and Alexander
It’s official! We have identical twin boys, and we may have to revise their due date in the coming weeks. As of today, they were the size expected for 19 weeks old even though according to their original due date they would be 17 weeks and 4 days old today.

They are handsome babies. Sometimes I can see their perfect profile and they look almost like a full term baby and then the picture scuffles around and I can’t always figure out what I’m viewing. As much as they move Mary, you must be feeling something like a kick now and then. I am filled with excitement for all of you and it is special now that each boy has a name.

I was wondering what sized fruit they resemble now– we’ve gone through raisins, grapes, peach pits….

Woo Hoo!! Eric is SO happy that two more adorable boys will be joining his ranks. When I told him, he said, “Good! I can’t wait to play with them!” I tried to set his expectations as to when that ‘playing’ would be…beyond peek-a-boo, that is!
Kate was hoping for more girls, so I told her the count will still be 7 to 3 — and that seemed to help

Cantelope (-loupe?) My perfect speller smeller is off. That perfect rounded head and profile is Greek god goodness –or a canteloup in captivity. I love the classic names, as well. “Dominic, you come here right now” “Dom, come here” “Domie?” “Oh, Ick!” Well, you’ll figure it out. Alexander the Great sure did.

What beautiful and well-formed babies. Very exciting! The detail and resolution of that ultrasound is fantastic.
