It has been a long, wonderful day, and I need to get myself to bed. Puck and I have called our immediate families to let everyone know that we were wrong. We are still pregnant…with twins. Many of you who read this will have heard the story already, but I will try to write it down tomorrow for the blog. For now, Puck and I are so very thrilled, and we enjoyed talking to so many members of our family tonight. Yes, we are still on the beginning of this journey, and we are so thankful for the two little lives, the two little heartbeats inside of me.
Before I go to sleep, I’ll post the first images and stats of our twins below - twin A (lower in the uterus) and twin B. Love you all!

Thanks for adding this quick post. I checked your blog not expecting to see any additional writing and I was surprised and able to see (kind of) the twins for the first time. They certainly are tiny and have lots of growing and developing to do. Isn’t it amazing how small they start out, each are just a couple of single cells hanging out together and now they are already about a half an inch. Now I can be excited all day today too. Love you four and Shakti! Mom

It’s true that they are still so very tiny. I thought they would be closer to 3/4 of an inch, so I was surprised to discover they were under half an inch. I must admit that after hearing the heartbeats it is all so much more real and the good news after what we had feared has left me even more excited about being pregnant than I was New Year’s Eve.

Felicidades!!! Thank you for sharing these WONDERFUL news with me. These are the best news! You guys are so organized, it’s so nice to be able to see the ultrasound images and to read up on the babies’ news (I don’t get to use the plural very often!) You two will be the best parents, very loving and thoughtful (and handsome, and smart, and sweet, and…) Love you both, or like mom said earlier, love you four. Besos.
